Author Guidelines
Preparing the Manuscript
Submissions accepted in this journal consist of the following types:
Original Research Paper
Refereed Research Paper submission must be kept within 4000-6000 words. This word limit must cover all of the texts within the manuscript starting from the title, abstract, keywords, main text, figure and table caption, acknowledgements, and references list.
Project and Book Review
Project and Book Review submission must not exceed 3000 words. This word limit must cover all of the texts within the manuscript starting from the title, abstract, keywords, main text, figure and table caption, acknowledgements, and references list.
Academic Design Project Reflection
Academic Design Project Reflection submission must be kept within 3000-5000 words. This word limit must cover all of the texts within the manuscript starting from the title, abstract, keywords, main text, figure and table caption, acknowledgements, and references list. The submission must show a scholarly reflection upon the project, encompassing the critical design thinking embedded in the project. There should be at least 5 indicative images of the project. Any submitted project must include the name of the student(s) and the supervi- sor(s) as the authors.
Each submission must be limited to 20 A4 pages, which can be written in English (preferably British English) or in Indonesian. For formatting, use 12 pt Times New Roman, 1.15 paragraph spacing, and 2.5 cm margin (all sides). Submission must include:
- Abstract and Keywords: The manuscript should include 100-250 words of abstract and maximum of 5 keywords.
- Title Page: The title page should include author(s) name, affiliation(s), short biography, and corresponding address.
- Introduction: The introduction should demonstrate clear study objective, followed with sufficient background. The introduction should also appropriately annotate the study’s state of the art or gap of analysis.
- Section: The paper should be organized into several sections (and sub sections if necessary). The titles of the sections should be in bold.
- Sub sections: Sub sections should be used only when a section contains too many ideas that need to be organised into several sub sections. The titles of the sub sections should be in bold italic.
- Concluding section: The final section should appropriately resolve the discussion, and respond towards the study’s objective.
- Figures and Tables: All of the figures and tables should be included and referred in the body of the manuscript. When the manuscript is accepted, the author(s) are mandatory to submit the .jpg files at 300 dpi separately. Tables should be editable rather than submitted as images.
- Acknowledgment: When applicable, contributing parties, be it individual, collective, or institution should be appropriately mentioned.
- References: Using APA reference style 7th edition. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software, such as Zotero, Endnote, and Mendeley.

Please note that the 20 pages limit is applied regardless of the type of submission.
Preparing the Submission
The manuscript should be submitted through the journal submission portal. Author(s) are required to log into the journal website to submit the following documents:
- A PDF file of your manuscript
- A .docx or .doc file of your manuscript
- A .docx or .doc file of your title page
- Separate files containing all of the images and tables in the manuscript
Reviewing Process
Your submitted projects will be initially screened by the editorial team. Assessment will be performed to see whether or not the submitted project has met the scope of the journal and has been appropriately written in academic English. Once considered suitable, your work will be reviewed by two referees (blind-review). After the review process is completed, the author(s) will be notified with the result: Accepted, Accepted with minor revisions; Accepted with major revisions; or Rejected.
Publication process
Upon acceptance of an article, the author will be asked to fill in copyright form and provide ARSNET with first publication rights. There will be no article or submission processing charges asked to the author in this publication process.
